With Hyun-ji as his partner, Bong-pal finds that he can fight even stronger ghosts, but also learns that not all ghosts are malevolent, that with the understanding of a ghost's story he can sometimes more simply help them pass into the next world. ![]() In order to be freed from endlessly wandering the earth as a ghost and to ascend to the next life, Hyun-ji convinces Bong-pal to allow her to live with him and the two become ghost fighting partners. ![]() The two accidentally kiss and Hyun-ji discovers that Bong-pal holds the secret as to why she is a spirit. Called to a haunted school he encounters Kim Hyun-ji (Kim So-hyun) a feisty middle high-school student who, because of a traffic accident, became a wandering spirit the day before her college entrance exams. ![]() Watched LE2 before the original, so don't necessarily have to go in order.Īgree that it's too bad that we don't get to see Do-joon and Hyun-jin together as their LE characters.Park Bong-pal (Ok Taec-yeon) has grown up with ability to see ghosts and uses this ability to work as an exorcist, banishing ghosts, but only weak ones, in order to make enough money to take away his ability to see ghosts. The one scene at the buffet style restaurant where the 3 women are full of jealousy competing for Dae-young's attention is simply one of the funniest scenes in a romcom. LE2 had the better build-up of the relationship/romance than LE1 (which kinda came out of nowhere and didn't really make sense) this is where Seo Hyun-jin really garnered my attention (had previously seen her in "The 3 Musketeers, but her role wasn't large enough to see what she was capable of) and kinda thought she almost stole the show from Yoon Doo-joon.īut LE1 had the far more enjoyable supporting characters - Shim Hyung-tak was simply hilarious as the clueless, but love-struck attorney and Lee Do-yeon was funny as the other attorney who saw herself different from the rest of world. Kinda split - depending on what one likes more. Yoon Doo-joon headlines Let’s Eat 2 with whole new cast.Yoon Doo-joon and Kim Seul-gi’s time-slip fantasy romance.Lee Soo-kyung makes guest appearance on Bring It On, Ghost.Seo Hyun-jin joins the Let’s Eat cameo crew in Bring It On, Ghost.Though if you make Gu Dae-young a ghost, or show him dating a THIRD girl, we will have words.īring It On, Ghost airs Mondays and Tuesdays on tvN. That’s my favorite kind of cameo - when dramaverses collide and we get to see B-side moments in characters’ “lives.” It should be a fun bit of meta for fans of the Let’s Eat series, even if it’s shoehorned into the Bring It On, Ghost narrative. Yoon Doo-joon has been confirmed to appear in Episode 16, which airs on August 30, in character as Gu Dae-young. Seo Hyun-jin is due to appear in Episode 13 as well, and the only shame is that she and Yoon Doo-joon couldn’t have done their cameos together. ![]() The series has already featured cameos from Let’s Eat alums Shim Hyung-tak, Lee Soo-kyung, and Kim Hee-won, and of course co-stars Kwon Yul as the shady professor-vet, and featured Lee Do-yeon in a recurring role as the boy-crazy unni ghost. He’s been announced for a cameo in the final episode, and better yet, he’ll be appearing as his Let’s Eat quirky foodie character Gu Dae-young. Yes, finally! The PD of tvN’s current Monday-Tuesday drama Bring In On, Ghost has been bringing practically all of the major cast members of his previous drama franchise - Let’s Eat Seasons 1 and 2 - to the set for fun cameos, and I’d been wondering if Yoon Doo-joon ( Splish Splash Love) would ever make an appearance. 58 AugAugYoon Doo-joon to make Let’s Eat and Bring It On, Ghost worlds collide by girlfriday
